My Sister Denise Bryant and Cousin Franzine Stokes both came to Stafford, VA to get their Sisterlocks installed. We were able to see each other more in one year than in 5 years so Sisterlocks brings family together too. My Sister is really excited about her Sisterlocks Training coming up on September 20-23, 2008 in Philadelphia, PA. I too look forward to my week stay in Syracuse, NY October 7-14, 2008 to assist as her mentor and assistant if needed. We hope to recruit more family members into the life change of Sisterlocks and hopefully more Consultants to spread Sisterlocks throughout Upstate New York.

Nice Family Reunion blog. I came across it looking for some of my childhood friends who are Stokes --Leroy, Butchie, Rodney & Stephanie Stokes. Are you related to them? All would be late 50's early 60's. I went to school with Butchie, Rodney & Stephanie. My maiden name is Linda Fisher. I was born in Syracuse, NY. I moved away in 1961 but visited from time to time over the years. I just missed the old school family reunion which would have put me in touch with a lot of my old friends. If you are related, can you tell me how I can get in touch with any of them?
Hi Linda, Yes I am a Stokes. You are asking about my uncles and aunt. They are my mom's younger brothers and sister. However, with great sadness, LeRoy, Rodney and Stephanie are deceased. My Uncle Butchie, is still with us, however his health is not good. Thanks for viewing my blog.
